Kyrie Irving is an Australian-born American professional basketball player. He’s currently signed to the Brooklyn Nets as the team’s starting point guard. Irving was raised in West Orange, New Jersey, where he attended Montclair Kimberley Academy. He averaged 26.5 points after two seasons and led the team to its first New Jersey Prep ‘B’ state title. He played in the 2009 Nike Global Challenge and was named MVP after averaging 21.3 points and 4.3 assists.
