Modern Warfare 2 Kastov-74u loadout

- Barrel: BR209 Barrel

To kick things off with the Kastov, you want to run the Markeev R7 Stock. This will boost your overall movement with the weapon including sprint speed, aim down spight speed and crouch movement speed. In addition, the Demo-X2 Grip is a boost to your overall recoil control.
Next up, we are enhancing movement even more with the BR209 Barrel. This boosts your movement again but does hurt your recoil and cullet velocity. However, the goal of this weapon build is to be in close quarters.
The XTEN-Havoc 90 muzzle is the key ingredient here that enhances the recoil control of both horizontal and vertical recoil. This helps keep the gun manageable and able to be controlled. As with all Kastov weapons, the 74u does bounce a fair bit without it.
Finally, we suggest the Merc Foregrip which will enhance your recoil more, but also boost hip fire accuracy and control, which is great given the close-quarters situation you will find yourself in with this build.
Best Modern Warfare 2 Kastov-74u Class Setup
Paired alongside the Kastov-74u, or the AK-74u, we recommend running the Side Impact Blueprint version of the X13 Auto if you have it from the beta rewards. This effectively makes the weapon a fast-firing backup for when you get in a tricky situation or have to finish off an enemy. Otherwise the regular X12 or X13 is great.
Then, perk-wise, we suggest running the Scavenger and Tracker perks in the base slot. This allows you to hunt enemies down with this fast-moving, mobile loadout and keep track of where they go. Similarly, Scavenger keeps your ammo stocked up as you are tracking those enemies down.
For your bonus perk, you will want Fast Hands, as the reload is fairly lengthy on the weapon. And, then to cap it off we suggest running Ghost, which will keep you off the minimap as you are running around the map.
Lethal-wise you want to equip the Drill Charge to use before you breach a room as it is an exceptionally strong lethal piece of equipment and a stun grenade to disorient enemies before you jump shot around a corner or enter a heavily guarded room. Finally, add Dead Silence to your Field Upgrade slot to hide your footsteps as you are traversing the map.
