BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The unsettled pattern continues as a low-pressure system travels up the coast from California. We have another windy day ahead of us in the Treasure Valley. Wind speeds will be between 10-20 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph possible in Boise.
Look for partly cloudy skies with highs in the low 50s. A band of precipitation will pass through the region this afternoon and is expected to pass near the Oregon and Idaho border, but some showers may impact the upper valley.
Another band of precipitation is likely to move in this evening. With the instability, it is hard to tell where and when it will impact the region, but we'll likely see some showers around the Oregon and Idaho border tonight.
There is a better chance of seeing significant precipitation around the valley tomorrow. Snow levels will remain high tomorrow, so most valleys around southwest Idaho will see rain. Showers may continue into Wednesday.
Look for drier conditions on Thursday. Models suggest a weak high-pressure system will keep us dry over the weekend.
